I love the classy homes I saw in South Carolina. Seth’s aunt’s house had this affixed to the front door.

I love this old door bell. The chain is attached to the bells inside. The pull handle looks like a door handle, doesn’t it? How classy!
Joyfully,

No, I didn’t really just post this. I scheduled it way in advance. Actually, when I posted this, Christmas hadn’t yet peeked its lovely head. I was watching Gilmore Girls in a hoodie and jeans. As this post makes its official way to the world-wide web, I’m enjoying some beautiful traveling, the pictures of which you will enjoy eventually.
At any rate, I have a pic from my favorite spot.
I know you are surprised to find that this is my favorite place:

He’s so handsome. I love being in any location from which I can see Seth. Not because I’m incapable of being solo. Not because I’m one of those wifies–you know the wifies who eats, breathes, and drinks the idea of her husband. Because I’m one of those wives who loves to see her handsome husband, who loves to admire his dimples, and who relishes the way he looks back at her.
He’s the best. I’m his biggest fan.
Swooningly,

So, without thinking ahead, I added a picture of family to the post for “Most Important Thing.” So, for “family,” I shall add a picture of a family of friends.
Seth has two best friends (besides me, of course). Seth was the first of these “three musketeers” to wed. Last summer, another did as well. The group is growing and has grown from a group of three to a group of five. We got together a couple weeks ago to celebrate Christmas.

From left to right: Maryana, Luke, Tim, Seth, and me. In front, you’ll see the back of Jack’s head. He wouldn’t cooperate with the camera timer. (That’s right, I actually took this one of me.)
Friends forever,

As mentioned in my last post, Seth’s extended family can hold their alcohol. Seth’s uncle, Jamie, said that he buys wine and then, the next day, forgets if it was good wine or not. My solution to that would be to not buy any wine that’s not good.
At any rate, Jamie had quite a few stashes of drinks, some which were more elegant than others.

I still can’t believe how much wine he had. There was more. Much more.
Soberly,

People often debate about the importance of things. As I’ve mentioned before, Seth and I traveled to Rock Hill, South Carolina, to visit some of his extended family for Thanksgiving. I finally met his grandfather. And met his uncle, his cousin, and some other grand people. I also spent more time getting to know his aunt Gretchen and his sister, Robin. It was a grand visit.
We had this picture snapped. Now, obviously, I didn’t snap this picture. But, nonetheless, it represents importance.

PS: Seth’s extended family can hold their alcohol. See the next post.
Love,

Maybe you haven’t heard. It surprises me, too. Sometimes I forget, myself. You see, there’s this really awesome dude. His name: Jesus. His super power: Grace.
Recently, Oasis, where Seth pastors, partnered with GCA, the church that grew out of Oasis, for a baptism service. There, several students and parishioners were baptized.
It was sweet.
Corey is a graduate of Oasis; he didn’t exactly realize that he hadn’t been baptized. So, he went for the sweet dunk.
Jesus takes the sinful person (all of us) and makes us innocent before God’s judgement. Amazing.

It’s a beautiful transformation.
Gratefully,
