So, this blog has been kinda quiet the last couple of months. But, babies are being born like crazy. You know what that means! I’m working on a couple of sessions right now. Until I finish, check out this precious one: Adelaide.

Why are you pointing that big ol’ lens at me!?
Love that face!
More to come!
Love,

Have you ever met a teenager who impressed the heck out of you? I’ve met my fair share as a high school teacher.
Today’s graduating senior blows my socks off!
Let’s talk about the joy of our Lord oozing out despite more than one’s share of struggles.
Let’s talk about a teenage girl with so much self control that there are adults who should admire her.
Let’s talk about a sense of humor to go with that determined work ethic of hers.
Let’s talk about a teenage girl whose inner beauty outshines that of her peers.
No, seriously.
And, also, let’s talk about how beautiful that girl is on the outside.
Meet Clara.

Clara’s only weapon: her Sword.

Some edgy Bible-reading going on here.
Clara,
You really are an inspiration to me and to those around you. Stay strong by leaning on His Truth, no matter what other (read: wrong) versions of the truth you stumble upon. One day, you’ll look back at all you’ve struggled through and realize just how strong Jesus has been making you–tougher than so many others. Don’t give up.
Jeremiah 42.10,

Can you say money!? These two are the money!

I got together with these two on Saturday to celebrate their upcoming nuptials in [digital] film!
Now, you may have followed my Instagram and saw this:

Ouchies! I set Nikki (yes, the camera has a name) on a ledge; I jumped up on the ledge, picked up Nikki and the strap got stuck on the corner of the ledge, jerking her from my hands. She fell from about six feet up. The lens continued to work, although a little more slowly than I’d like.
This all happened right before I snapped this picture:

I couldn’t figure out what colors her eyes were. When I asked her, she didn’t know either. :)
It may have been worth it. Maybe.
We moved right along. We ended up catching some marvelous images.
I love this set!
Here are some of my fave pics of the day:
Wait. I can’t pick. They’re all so good!
Okay, I can do this.
Trying again…
Here are some awesome frames of Allyson and Corey’s love (in no particular order):

Pinky promise: I’m yours forever!

That awkward moment when the photographer says, “kiss” and you and your future spouse forget how to do so…

Me: Are you an arm girl?
Allyson: I’m an everything girl!

Breakfast at Tiffany’s theme!

So much ice her ring finger should be falling off!
Now, I have many more favorites. What? What’s that? You say I can’t have more than one favorite? Well, this is my blog and I write my own rules.
From this point forward, blog owner may choose as many favorite images as she wishes.
There.
If you’d like to see more of their images, follow this handy little link.
Corey and Allyson, may God grant you two a deep and meaningful love that honors and glorifies Him.
Love,

In case you missed it, I snapped some pics of Ben and Becca. You may recognize them; they are [twin] siblings found in their sister’s wedding pictures.
We hung out at German Village for a bit and then traveled to a few different places on OSU’s campus.
First, let’s look at Ben’s pictures.
Ben

Becca

Both

Congrats, Becca! And congrats, Ben! May your futures be so bright, you’ve gotta wear shades!
To new beginnings,

Eek! I’m smack dab in the middle of processing the images from Corey and Allyson’s engagement session. I. Love. These. Pics!
So, I’m taking a quick pause to give you a quick sneak peek–well, mostly Allyson wants a sneak peek.
Check it.

I love it! I can’t wait to get through all the images. Stay tuned!
Love,
