I am totally in love with The Husband.  He’s so sweet. So kind. So loving.  And he hears my heart more than I could ever have dreamed a husband could.

He’s an awesome man. I love spending time with him.  That’s my love language: quality time.

Usually, we express our love languages toward others whom we love. Or toward things we love.

I’ve found that I have recently neglected two things that I, in the depths of my heart, truly love: blogging and Jesus. Um, that’s from least important to most important, of course.

I scoured the internet and even asked friends to help me find a blog challenge for February.  One dear friend found one for me and quickly sent it to me; once we investigated a little further, we realized that challenge was for moms! I’m not a mother!

So, I asked my friend if she would join me if I made a  Bible blog challenge.  And, then, this idea was born.

Here’s how it works:

Each day will have a Bible verse.  I chose some popular ones and sprinkled in some less popular, more challenging ones.

Your task:

Read the verse, then read the context of the verse, then react.  Blog your reactions, thoughts, questions, and take-aways.  Really, you can write whatever you want; just don’t forget the context of the verse, too! Use the hashtag #iheartbible if you share on social media!

If you post your blog link in the linky below, we can share in each other’s thoughts, questions, and take-aways.  Maybe we can bless one another!

Read one another’s posts and marvel at the many ways Jesus speaks to us!

The Reqs:

If it’s past February first and you’re just now seeing this post and you feel so inclined, JOIN IN LATE! No shame.

Use the badge below to invite others into the challenge (and link back to this post)! And, when we see one another using the badge, we’ll feel unified.  (That’s one verse’s topic, too!)

Download it. Or use this code to put it in your post.

The Prompts:

Need to grab the prompts for easy access?  Download it and put it on your smartphone or your computer wallpaper; or print it and put it in your Bible or by your computer. Or both.

I plan on putting it on my phone and maybe even print a copy for my night stand.

A Calendar

Are you a calendar freak? Well, use this link to the iCal with the verses on them.  Or, print a copy of the calendar.

Anything else?

This is my first blog challenge and the first time I’ve hosted a linky!  Please kindly send suggestions if you have them!

Otherwise, blog on!

Love,
