We’ve had some interesting weather here in the midwest.  Let’s take this past weekend for example.  The Hunk and I hung out on the back patio and read and snapped random pictures almost all morning.

This is a parking spot marker behind our place.

Seth loves to take pictures of my hands.

I need a pedicure. Even a homemade one would suffice.

I love the detail here. We love taking texture pictures.

Our fence may fall over. But until then, this is a cool texture shot.

The skies were beautiful on Saturday. Just beautiful.

I was reading Pioneer Woman's book: Black Heels to Tractor Wheels. I can't wait to finish it!

And then there was Sunday night: The rain fell.  And we spent about a half hour in the basement before catching some of these shots.

Our road was flooded and people were still driving in it. We heard the news anchors say that people were abandoning their cars just down the road from us.

Then the sun came out

And the skies became beautiful once again!

There was even a rainbow. The rainbow lasted a while, too. We chatted with the neighbors before the second wave came through...

Which left us with these bad boys!

Crazy, right?  As the old adage goes: If you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes.  Today, the last day of winter, we hit eighty degrees.

Be safe out there, folks!

Warmly,
